STREAMING NOW: The Occupants, headed by former Cog frontman Flynn Gower along with brother Luke Gower and Leigh Davies, has released for streaming their long-awaited new track, Alison – a love letter from Gallipoli. (scroll down for soundcloud stream)
Following on from their debut Hindsight EP produced by legendary sound master Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus etc) the latest offering sticks to the ethereal dreamscape sounds that the group has been able to capture and translate so far.
The earlier tracks have been monumental epics of ear-tingling story telling, of course with a uniquely Australian flavour. Based between the Byron Bay hills and Melbourne, the largely underground project has until now flown quite under the radar, and we’re hoping a tour may be in the works as they are yet to perform a live show.
To be released March 5th on iTunes, pre-order now at https://itunes.apple.com/au/album/alison-single/id971776094
50% of the proceeds from the sale of the single will be donated to the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC)
